Rising Pollution Costs and Modernizing Infrastructure
From 2025, significant road tax changes for heavy vehicles (over 3.5 tons) are expected across Europe. These changes are tied to stricter environmental policies, new regulations, and economic factors. Many countries are introducing CO₂-based tolls to encourage the use of less polluting vehicles and support sustainable development.
These shifts reflect Europe’s commitment to creating a more efficient and eco-friendly transportation network, while simultaneously modernizing infrastructure and addressing urban traffic congestion issues.
